El Show De Meca offers something different to the audience during the afternoon drive. While focusing on Salsa, Merengue and Bachata, Meca looks forward to refreshing the ears of all the listeners. You’ll hear the classics that we all love as well as the newest hits. This fun show will keep you dancing the entire time. Expect the unexpected, Monday thru Friday from 12pm to 2pm.
SOY MECA!
Meca was born in Puerto Rico but was raised in Miami. When he was 18, he began to work at Univision as Assistant Producer. He focused on his craft and quickly became the youngest Producer/Director in Univision History. Meca branched out from television to radio. He worked alongside Julio Jr, who was responsible for bringing the Reggaetton Movement to our beautiful city of Miami. Meca also worked with Enrique Santos which he credits for planting the seed to becoming a radio personality. Meca created, produced and hosts his own show called Gozando Con Salsa for the last 5 years in hopes to bring the Salsa movement back to where it belongs. With hard work, comes a great responsibility and Meca is ready to bring his passion, heart and soul to the next stage of his career.
